Murphy Anderson’s Mark Hanna Speaks on Whistleblower Law at Nashville ABA Conference
March 12, 2026
Murphy Anderson partner Mark Hanna was a featured speaker at the ABA Labor and Employment Law Section’s Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Committee midwinter conference in Nashville.
Mark’s panel addressed recent developments in whistleblower law, including the False Claims Act (FCA). The panel discussed strategic considerations when clients bring matters involving both qui tam and retaliation claims, as well as current administrative enforcement priorities, including tariff and healthcare fraud.
Mark also addressed how constitutional challenges to the False Claims Act, together with the departure of many experienced attorneys from the Department of Justice, may affect case selection and advocacy by whistleblower counsel.
