Jason Veny and Mark Hanna speak at ABA Conference
Jason Veny and Mark Hanna served as speakers at the 19th Annual ABA Labor and Employment Law Conference held in Denver, Colorado.
Jason Veny presented on a panel titled "Techniques and Approaches to Collective Bargaining," which examined a range of bargaining strategies including interest-based bargaining, mediated bargaining sessions, and interest arbitration. The panel discussed the practical strengths and limitations of each approach, as well as the legal considerations that practitioners must navigate when incorporating these strategies into negotiations.
Mark Hanna spoke on a panel called "Emerging Trends in Civil Human Trafficking Litigation." The panel focused on unique procedural and substantive aspects of the federal Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA), including issues of beneficiary liability and damages.
In addition to his role as a speaker, Jason served as the Union and Employee Co-Chair of the Conference.
