Murphy Anderson Attorneys Present at ABA Labor Conference

Murphy Anderson partner Jason Veny presented in a panel titled “Strategic Considerations for Remote Proceedings in Labor and Employment Cases.” 

The panel considered the shifting landscape of remote or in-person proceedings post-Covid. Veny was also a track co-chair for the 16th Annual Labor and Employment Conference.

 

Partner Mark Hanna participated in a panel concerning key differences between federal and state whistleblower laws. 

The panelists presentation and paper highlighting key differences between federal and state whistleblower laws in the following categories: protected activity, causation standards, adverse action, procedural issues and damages.  The panelists also tackled the issue of which whistleblower laws trump pre-dispute arbitration agreements.
