Mark Hanna presented on a panel about effective and inventive mediation tactics. Hanna drew on his experience representing workers in dozens of successful mediations to provide insights on using mediation to achieve the best possible results for clients. Hanna’s focus was on representing workers who have faced wage theft.
Nicolas Mendoza presented on the “Emerging Trends in Whistleblower Cases” panel. Mendoza – whose practice focuses on representing whistleblowers in False Claims Act cases – joined his co-panelists in discussing recent False Claims Act actions concerning AI, cybersecurity, financial fraud stemming from tariff policies, and potential issues on the horizon.
David Rodwin presented on a panel concerning effective representation of immigrant workers amid renewed workplace ICE enforcement. Based on his experience representing many noncitizen workers in wage-theft cases, Rodwin offered possible best practices to protect clients and maximize the chances of success.
