Murphy Anderson Welcomes Jerry Fugit and Kena Cador

Jerry Fugit is Murphy Anderson's newest associate. He received his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining Murphy Anderson, he clerked for U.S. District Judge Mary Lou Robinson of the Northern District of Texas and worked as an associate at the Leichter Law Firm P.C., in Austin. While in Austin, he practiced health care law before state and federal administrative agencies. He is fluent in Shakespeare and barbecue.

Kena Cador is Murphy Anderson's 2015 Peggy Browning Fund Summer Law Clerk. She is a 3L at the Georgetown University Law Center. She volunteers at the D.C. Employment Justice Center and the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless. Kena received her B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara and her M.A. from New York University. She previously interned with the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and the USERRA Unit of the U.S. Office of Special Counsel.
