Roseann R. Romano
Rosie Romano is an associate in our Washington office. She previously served as the 2016-2017 George R. Murphy Public Interest Fellow.
Prior to joining Murphy Anderson, Rosie clerked for Judge Michael Melloy on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Rosie graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law. During law school, Rosie served as the Senior Managing Editor of the Iowa Law Review. She also interned with the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and served as a research assistant to two Iowa Law professors. Prior to attending law school, Rosie worked as a Civil Rights Analyst with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division.
In 2019, the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs awarded Rosie the Wiley Branton Outstanding Achievement Award for his work on behalf of low-wage workers.
